The main features include planning and constructing new buildings, transforming existing ones, as well as studying built environment-related issues and conducting research, in particular in the fields of sustainable development or wood construction. Providing expertise and project management also form part of their area of competence. In addition, Bauart's partners participate in several professional associations, such as the Federation of Swiss Architects (FAS), the Swiss Society of Engineers and Architects (SIA), the Federation of Swiss Planners (FSU), the Schweizer Werkbund (SWB), Swissolar, Solar Swiss Connect, Cobaty International, EspaceSuisse or the Ecoparc Neuchâtel association.
