Description
The immediate context of the new Migros branch is mainly composed of two or three-story residential buildings. By its geometry, the planned building is perfectly integrated in this context. Relation to the site, compacity, energy considerations and clear separation of the different users acted as unifying themes for the development of the project. The slight set back of the lower part of the façade enables optimal adaptation to the site’s scale. The window patterns remind those found in the typical “Appenzeller” house.
