A visit to Creative Factory was organised for the studio led by Emmanuel Rey at the Laboratory of Architecture and Sustainable Technologies (LAST) at EPFL.

This off-campus educational activity allowed the students to explore a project that exemplifies the challenges and potential associated with converting a former logistics center into a multifunctional building. Expressing a dialogue between permanence and versatility, the integration of wooden volumes and lightweight partitions into the preserved structure has enabled the creation of a series of lofts dedicated to living and working, as well as workshops for training, crafts, and restaurants.
