Thomas Schmid

Thomas studied at ETH Zurich and at Southeast University in Nanjing, People’s Republic of China. Early in his career, he contributed to the design of the Swiss National Exhibition Expo.02 at GIM in Bern, under the direction of Ateliers Jean Nouvel in Paris. He then joined Bauart as a project architect and simultaneously managed the firm’s IT systems for over 15 years. After a year as Lead BIM Manager at the Federal Office for Buildings and Logistics, he returned to Bauart as Head of Digital Processes. He has been a member of the extended management team since 2022.
