Modular and sustainable spaces for the municipality of Chavannes-près-Renens.

This new modular school building houses twelve classes from Chavannes-près-Renens Primary School. This highly prefabricated timber structure will serve as a temporary home for eight years for several schools in the municipality that are due for renovation. As a high-quality temporary facility from the perspective of school space planning, this building will undoubtedly provide pupils with lasting memories of their early school years. Thanks to a systemic construction method, the school complex was completed in two years, from the planning phase through to final construction. Depending on future needs, it can easily be relocated, extended or adapted on site to begin a new cycle of use – a sustainable solution in every respect.
