Administrative Building Stage 4 Zollikofen

The administration building of the fourth stage forms the keystone of the new location for the federal administration. The eight-storey building stands on the side of the site facing Zollikofen railway station, adjacent to a small square. Although smaller in volume than the other three buildings, the fourth building asserts itself within the ensemble with its strong façade made of mineral material. Like the other administrative buildings, the rooms are arranged around an inner courtyard. This forms a glazed atrium on the overheight ground floor and thus provides a light-flooded entrance area. Six of the seven upper floors house differently designed office and meeting areas as well as meeting zones. The top floor houses conference rooms and a restaurant with a view over the site and the adjacent railway tracks.
