This inner neighbourhood densification project proposes an interactive system of streets and gardens with superordinate geometry but with differentiated volumetry. The different-shaped buildings are on the typical local scale and fit in well with the neighbourhood. The main, traffic-free residential street links up with Schöneggweg and the south-western green zone via a network of transversal alleys. The project proposes a differentiated housing offer based on a homogeneous structure. High organizational flexibility means that the requirements of as many tenants as possible can be satisfied in all life-style circumstances, thus promoting easy identification with their “homes”.
