Description
The urban development strategy for the Murtenstrasse perimeter foresees a significant densification over the next 50 years. Hence, the design of the volume aims at respecting the scale of the surrounding buildings throughout all three stages of construction. Well integrated despite its high density, the new building fits perfectly in its urban context. Another challenge is the stacking of several sensitive functions: laboratories for clinical research and forensics, keeping of animals and public functions.
