Competition Viteos La Chaux-de-Fonds

Taking advantage of the local geometry, this building is a new landmark in the urban landscape. With its clear and rational design, it blends well with the upper slope of the site while the lower level asserts the functional efficiency required to fulfil its role. Light, transparent and active, the main facade clearly demonstrates how renewable energies are taken into account with greater focus on passive and active solar power. At an optimal height, between the access road and the administrative floors, a base level has been created to facilitate smooth functioning of the whole logistic flow system on one level. The base, car park and distribution cores are in concrete whereas the use of wood is planned for all the elements located above the base level (storage facilities, workshops and offices).
