For an optimal integration into the site, the architectural expression of the building is based on a subtle logic of contemporary transpositions of the characteristics appreciated in the vernacular constructions of the Jura, particularly in agricultural buildings. The building is enveloped by an openwork wooden cladding, which generates a play between transparency, translucency and opacity. The variable composition of the openings and their deliberately non-aligned layout are part of an imaginary of its own, combining neo-rurality and creativity. The wooden construction, the efficient thermal envelope, the use of natural light and the coverage of needs by renewable energies (geothermal probe and photovoltaic roof) lead to a low carbon construction.
