Description
The Modular-Thun system is designed to allow the rapid construction of school buildings. It is based on a wooden module, whose characteristics are optimized for this specific use. Four buildings have been realized with this system to meet the demand of the City of Thun. The approach also includes a long-term flexibility concept: buildings can be moved or enlarged at a later date according to demographic changes in the different neighborhoods of the city.
