Description
The former industrial site covering an area of 108 hectares is structured with three separate spaces. Innovative and alternative principles for use, Solothurn Experimental District, sustainability through training and knowledge exchange, establishing a district based on exchanges and greater density rather than through growth are the priority planning levels. Different values, intermediate use, research, urban farming, solar boats and houseboats, stacked single family houses, industrial theme park, pump trail, renaturing, biodiversity and returning a piece of history to the population are central themes of this complex concept.
