Ground-breaking of the Zurich Innovation Centre

The ground-breaking ceremony of the new Zurich Innovation Centre of Givaudan in Kemptthal was held on April 29, 2016, in the presence of the various stakeholders involved in the projet. The new buildings, integrating an atrium as a shared space for meetings and exchange, are being constructed in accordance with the LEED Gold sustainability standard to meet stingent sustainability requirements for resource-efficient construction and low operation costs. For an investment of CHF 120 Mio, the new building complex, anticipated to open in 2019, will provide space for 290 employees in flavour and fragance research, flavour development and administrative functions.
