The "Campus Thun" competition | 1st prize

Together with Halter AG and the landscape architects Balliana Schubert, Bauart has won the overall management competition for development of the construction area B5 ESP Thun Nord. On the Little Allmend site, the ‘Campus Thun’ project plans an attractive business location with focal areas of research, services and education. It will be the starting point for development of this military wasteland destined to becoming a sustainable district dedicated to research and education. The exterior draws on the surrounding urban fabric while the interior proposes a more intimate environment with clear design language and a strong identity.
