Description
The new building serves as a link with the northern part of the area and fits in well with the site’s urban concept. In the long term, this second administrative building on the Meielen site is planned to house some 1100 work places occupied by the Federal Office for IT, Systems and Telecommunication (FOITT). Strong features of the base area’s structural design are the arcade-like recesses that highlight access points. The façade’s colour scheme harmonizes well with the existing urban context. The third-stage extensions are part of the global concept.
