Description
Bauart has designed an interior concept for the Post Office headquarters offices in Wankdorf Bern. Working closely with the project supervisor, a new operating design for colour and materials was developed right up to the call for tender and development assistance stage. The structuring of the repeated floor layouts into recognizable zones was achieved by using differentiated furnishings which offer enhanced flexibility of use. Materials were chosen to match the building: black lacquered metal, with wood (White Ash) and three shades of textile surfaces to provide a subtle contrast in office areas.
