Promenades

The flâneur sees more – and those who notice a lot often think a lot, too – about their built environment, for instance.
As architects, we are pleased to invite you over the next two years to a series of “Promenades” through our projects.
We asked seven photographers to capture images that reflect the full range of our architectural work: from housing to shopping centres, from wood to glass, from universities of applied sciences to newly planned urban districts.
Each image is accompanied by a quote that – we hope – will spark your thoughts as well.

Promenade | Bauart à propos de promenades, mise en route... Bauart geht spazieren, eine Einführung...

Promenade 001 | What we think of what we do or what we beleive is in the end of little consequence. The only thing of consequence ist what we do.

Promenade 002 | La semplicità è la suprema sofisticazione.

Promenade 003 | Le coeur fait tout, le reste est inutile.

Promenade 004 | The ship hung in the sky in much the same way that bricks don't.

Promenade 005 | The universe is under no obligation to make sense to you.

Promenade 006 | I think that the ideal space must contain elements of magic, serenity, sorcery and mystery.

Promenade 007 | Anyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination.
