Hybrid Urbanity in Venice
The book HYBRID URBANITY is exhibited in the temporary library at Venice Architecture Biennale, a mobile pavilion designated by Diller Scofidio + Renfro in the Giardini. Recently published by Birkhaüser, the book details the many challenges inherent in the regeneration of urban areas. Through a wide range of texts, documents and photographs – including an essay by Bruno Marchand – it provides a monograph on the Oassis neighborhood, designed on a former industrial brownfield site in West Lausanne.
