The current issue of the Swiss construction journal TEC21 focuses on the conversion of office spaces into housing. One of the featured examples is the Brückenkopf in Bern. The office building from the 1960s was repurposed under the motto "urban living" into small apartments ranging from 1.5 to 3.5 rooms and lofts. The apartments occupy the top five floors, the lofts are located on the plinth level, and the ground floor is used for commercial purposes. A shared rooftop terrace completes the project.
