3rd place for our new building in continuity with the existing structures on the santésuisse site. A coherent ensemble that subtly reinterprets the existing architecture and enhances the outdoor spaces.

Bauart’s project was awarded 3rd place in the competition for santésuisse’s residential and commercial buildings in Solothurn. The design builds upon the existing qualities of urban planning and architecture, and sensitively continues their development. The replacement building forms a strong, cohesive ensemble with the two existing structures, using an architectural language derived from the existing context. The precisely placed, staggered new volume redefines and enhances the quality of the outdoor spaces for the various user groups.
