The project "Creative Factory" transforms an old logistics center into a multifunctional building.

At the heart of a transforming West Lausanne, the "Creative Factory" project involves the conversion of a former logistics center into a multifunctional building. By repurposing an existing structure, the architectural approach aims to promote urban revitalization, limit gray energy consumption, and minimize environmental impact. The transformation process began with a strategy to reuse materials available on-site, optimizing them through existing channels and short supply routes. Reorganized around a newly created internal street, the building will house lofts for living and working, as well as workshops for training, creation, and craftsmanship. As a true interface with the street, the former logistics site will also be depaved to make way for a green, tree-lined park.
