With its clear form, the building establishes itself as a landmark of the campus, situated within a vast tree-lined park extending eastward. Its precise positioning creates a morphological dialogue with the existing university buildings. Shielded by a specifically designed brise-soleil, its façades express both the transparency of an institution open to the landscape and the creation of a space with a unique atmosphere dedicated to knowledge. Its location acknowledges the importance of proximity to the city and the lake by carefully considering visual clearances. The design of this space for interaction is characterized by an integrative sustainability strategy, particularly in terms of site identity, user well-being, climate considerations, and ecological resource management. This approach is reflected in the compactness of volumes, the limitation of excavations, the grouping of spaces according to their technical requirements, structural simplicity, the separation of different components, rainwater management, and energy efficiency.
