The Strahmhof development consists of three point buildings. Their positioning takes into account the existing structures and follows the boundaries of the property. The alignments of the two buildings along the streets follow the street layout and integrate into the existing sightlines, while the third building is parallel to the adjacent sports field. Together, they form a nature-inspired, semi-public green courtyard. The variation in height allows the development to blend well into the urban landscape despite its density. The elongated building along Oberdorfstrasse is three stories high, while the two buildings behind it have four stories each. This good integration is enhanced by the delicate facade made of pre-greyed wood.

The mix of 33 rental and ownership apartments complements the existing housing offer in the village. Two-thirds of the units have 3.5 rooms and are ideal, for example, for older couples wishing to move from a single-family home to a centrally located apartment. An important addition is the space for a shared practice in the building on Oberdorfstrasse. The Strahmhof thus also contributes to the healthcare provision in the community.
