Swisswoodhouse was developed as a flexible, 2000-watt-compatible multi-family housing system in timber construction. In Nebikon, on a small peninsula between two streams, the first swisswoodhouse with 18 apartments is being built. The 2.5- to 5.5-room apartments showcase the wide range of possibilities offered by the swisswoodhouse system through their diverse typologies. The 60-meter-long building is clad in a vertical wooden façade with a subtly shifting dark gray finish. The entire timber structure, including the façade, is fully prefabricated in the factory and assembled on-site in just three weeks.
