The exhibition Hors-site (mais pas hors-sol) offers a contemporary perspective on the qualitative and ecological developments in prefabrication.
The gallery of the Order of Architects of the Pays de la Loire is hosting the exhibition Off-site (but not above ground), designed by the Maison de l'architecture d'Île de France, from October 16 to December 19, 2025. It explores construction practices known as “off-site” or, more simply, prefabricated in a workshop or factory, for elements intended for assembly on site. Through a series of concrete projects and approaches, the exhibition highlights the potential of this production method. Among the projects presented at the event figures Züri-Modular, an architectural system designed for educational spaces and developed for the City of Zurich.
