The freestanding, pentagonal ring-shaped building is derived from the geometry of the site and its setback distances. Its design establishes multiple connections to the outdoor environment while providing a multifunctional center through its inner courtyard. The 62 care rooms and 36 senior apartments are functionally separated by distinct access points. In the care unit, rooms face either outward or toward the courtyard, while the apartments open up to the surrounding landscape. Communal spaces and a dining hall with a restaurant complete the architectural program.
