The creation of a large storage space is based on the use of prefabricated long-span timber elements.

The assembly of wooden elements for the storage area at Les Bois, in the region of the Franches-Montagnes, is progressing rapidly on site. Following the prefabrication phase in the workshop, the elements are being installed at a steady and precise pace. This is an opportunity to see the many challenges posed by a task that combines two requirements: the magnitude of the static load and the precision of the finishes. This prefabrication work involves close collaboration between designers and builders upstream, as illustrated by our cooperation here with JPF Ducret and Batipro.
