Alina Kretschmer, an architect responsible for the climate and sustainability division at Bauart, recently took part in a presentation at the Chair of Computational Design at RWTH Aachen University as part of the research project “BIM-Based Life Cycle Assessment: Enhancement of the eLCA tool with open BIM standards.”
Project life cycles under the microscope
Alina presented our practical experience of the workflow involved in software-assisted life cycle assessment of projects, using the Weiss-Müller-Stiftung project in Bümpliz and the Schlossmatt project in Berthoud as examples.
