An innovative timber construction featuring three vertically stacked sports halls and a logical, modular framework shaping the architecture.

The new sports facility is fundamentally divided into an access/auxiliary area and a space dedicated to the sports rooms. The three rooms are stacked vertically and connected to the access/auxiliary area on the southeast side. The sports room with the largest span is positioned at the top, while the two lower levels feature a central row of columns to halve the spans. The logical and simple structural timber system is intended to remain visible in the building’s external appearance. Beams and columns form a basic framework that is infilled in different ways – opaque, semi-transparent, or transparent. This design highlights the vertical stacking of the three sports areas within the overall volume.
